Phone Photography and Editing

It’s been a while since I got my hands on the DSLR. Apart of the wedding jobs, I don’t have much time to play with my beloved old Nikon. I miss the street, the people, the moment. But still, I never stop capturing images thanks to the mobile technology. No, not a compact camera, but my old Samsung S Advance. It’s a small android phone which I carry along with me 24/7.

I may say that I’m new to the android technology since I’m one of the devoted Symbian user for almost 9 years. Sometimes I want to say thanks to the person who rob my phone because without him/her, I’ll still be the “old and uncool” Symbian user (well, I don’t say that I was transformed when I used Android).

The Samsung S Advance fixed with 5MP camera which is the same as my previous E72. The images captured from both phone I may say are equal, but the Symbian base phone as you all may know, lack on variety of editing software. Your dull picture, will stay dull. The instant moment that you hope to capture sometime seems so plain, you hope that you bring your SLR along. I’m not saying that you will not captured a good image/moment with your phone. Look at Dan Chung. But that’s a different story. I’m just saying that, with Symbian, I could get a good image, but with Android, it will get better. iPhones….?? Never use them, so I just put it aside right now. šŸ™‚

Editing software such as Pixlr Express, After Focus, Little Photo, PicSay Pro, Snapseed are just part of theĀ softwareĀ available for users. It is easy to use, cheap/free, and I must say it can make a person with zero basic in photography be able to be satisfied with their captured images. Thanks to the technology, everything is possible event with your basic items.

I’m starting to enjoy Android, but I still miss my E72. šŸ˜¦

I want to share some of the image captured by this small 5MP phone and edited with various software available at the Android Market. It’s not the best but I think the “moment” is there. Cheers.

Kingdom of Cambodia (Final Part)

The journey of Qurban and Aqiqah mission ends here. Cambodia have a lot of potentials and there’s no barrier to hold up Khmer to improve in everything that they do. I love this country, the people and the “feels” of Khmer hospitality.

Pre Wedding – Yusra n Rus Zainoren

For The First Time

Into my world
of darkness and silence,
you brought light and music.

When you lit my candle,
I began to see and understand
the taste and texture of love.

For the first time.
